  1. Examine data supporting a patient survival advantage for the Ross procedure compared to other aortic valve operations.

  2. Examine and define the technical success factors required for a life-long lasting functional autograft.

  3. Examine data on the impact of decellularization on pulmonary allograft function and durability.

  4. Examine strategies to restore the Ross procedure to the surgical "menu" of aortic valve operations.
